Description
- Barricade S Cattle dip and spray is an acaricidal and insecticidal dip and spray.
Recommendations for Use
- Cattle tick (Boophilus microplus)
- New Zealand bush tick (Haemaphysalis longicornis)
- paralysis tick (Ixodes holocyclus)
- buffalo fly (Haematobia irritans exigua) on cattle (beef and dairy), horses, goats, deer and working dogs.
- Cattle lice (Linognathus vituli, Damalinia bovis, Haematopinus eurysternus).

General dipping instructions
1. The dip or spray race sump should be accurately measured, and the relevant volumes marked on the dip wall or on a dip-stick.
2. Dip vats and spray race sumps should be maintained in near full condition and replenished before the level has dropped 1000 litres in the case of plunge dips, and 300 litres in the case of spray races.
Mixing
Add the required amount of BARRICADE S CATTLE DIP AND SPRAY directly to the water of the dip or sump, distributing It along its length.
Stir thoroughly. BARRICADE S CATTLE DIP AND SPRAY can be used with hard or soft water.
Hand sprays and non-recirculating spray races CATTLE ONLY.
1 part BARRICADE S CATTLE DIP AND SPRAY to 250 parts of water (1:250).
SAMPLING
Stir thee dip/sump vigorously as described above, before sampling.
Plunge dip: Take the sample from 1 metre below the surface at the jump end as the last animal is passing through the dip.
Spray race: Take the sample from below the surface of the remaining wash after the last animal has been treated and all drainings have returned to the sump.

MEAT (CATTLE): DO NOT USE less than 8 days before slaughter for human consumption
MEAT (HORSE): DO NOT USE less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.
MILK: DO NOT USE on lactating cows or within 42 days of calving, where milk or milk products may be used for human consumption. DO NOT USE on goats that are producing or may in the future produce milk for human consumption.
Disposal
This container can be recycled if it is clean, dry, free of visible residues and has the drumMUSTER logo visible. Triple or pressure rinse container for disposal. Dispose of rinsate or any undiluted chemical according to Stale legislative requirements. Wash outside of the container and the cap. Store clean container in a sheltered place with cap removed. It will then be acceptable for recycling al any drumMUSTER collection or similar container management program site. The cap should not be replaced but may be taken separately.
If recycling is not available, dispose of containers in a local authority landfill. If neither of these options are available, bury the containers below 500 mm in a disposal pit specifically marked and set out for this purpose clear of waterways, vegetation and roots. Empty containers and product should not be burnt.
Storage recommendations
Store below 30 °C (Room Temperature) in the closed original container, in a ventilated separate building or room away from children, fodder and foodstuffs. Do not store for prolonged periods in direct sunlight.

Dangerous to fish. Do not contaminate ponds, waterways or drains with Barricade ‘S’ or used containers. Dangerous to bees. Do not spray on plants in flower while bees are foraging.

Safe Use Recommendations
Safety Directions
Very dangerous, particularly the concentrate product. All efforts should be made to minimise personal exposure to chlorfenvinphos, particularly the concentrate. Do not use this product if it is too hot to wear the recommended personal protective equipment. Do not use this product in a manner which causes the product or used container to enter streams, rivers or waterways.
Poisonous if absorbed by skin, inhaled or swallowed. Will damage eyes. Will irritate eyes, nose, throat and skin. Facial skin contact may cause temporary facial numbness. Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders. Repeated minor exposure may have cumulative poisoning effect. Obtain an emergency supply of atropine tablets 0.6 mg. Avoid contact with the eyes or skin. Do not inhale vapour or spray mist.
When opening the container, preparing spray and pouring large quantities, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, and a washable hat, PVC or rubber apron, elbow length nitrile gloves, goggles, impervious footwear and half facepiece respirator. When using the prepared spray wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, and a washable hat, PVC or rubber apron, elbow length nitrile gloves, goggles and impervious footwear. If excessive splashing or contamination is likely, in addition wear waterproof clothing.
If clothing becomes contaminated with the product or wet with spray remove clothing immediately. After use and before eating, drinking or smoking wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water. After each day's use, wash gloves, goggles, contaminated clothing and respirator, and if rubber, wash with detergent and warm water.

The number is 13 1126 from anywhere in Australia and is available at all times. Have the SDS with you when you call. If swallowed, splashed on skin or inhaled, contact a Poisons Information Centre or a doctor at once. Remove any contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly. Hospital treatment may be necessary.
