Secure® 1mL Metal Vaccinator

Zoetis has developed a new vaccinator for administration of 1mL vaccines to sheep, cattle and goats, to improve safety for user and flock.
The new vaccinator, through unique innovative features, reduces the risk of injury associated with vaccine administration. See working animation (11Mb).

• A protective cover over the needle reduces the risk of accidental needle stick injury.
• An internal locking valve that prevents the delivery of the vaccine until the needle cover is retracted (forced back by the skin of the animal) at the time of vaccination.

• The vaccinators are designed to fit an NJ Phillips 18 gauge / 12mm needle.
• Available separately to the Secure vaccinator is a Secure Holster and Belt which is a convenient way of housing the vaccinator between injections.
• Secure provides a new technique to deliver a 1 mL dose subcutaneously with a simple push technique against the skin.
